Duncan Taylor, to add further complexity to its products, allows the spirit to spend the final part of its maturation (8 months) in much smaller casks than usual: the 50-litre ex-sherry \"Octave\" casks. In these, significant evaporation occurs along with an evolution that imparts a unique and inimitable character to the spirit. From each octave, without blending, filtration, or added coloring, only 88 bottles are produced—true collector’s treasures.\n  \u003c\/div\u003e\n  \u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eDescription:\u003c\/b\u003e Dark amber color. On the nose, spices reminiscent of rum, burnt sugar, toasted with salted butter, and a hint of citrus. On the palate, orange peels dipped in Sherry, coastal air, bursts of ginger, honey.
