It is a blend of three vintages: 2004, 2005, and 2007, aged in three different types of barrels. The 2004 was aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, the 2005 in ex-Madeira barrels, and the 2007 in new American oak barrels. Each of the three rums is a Single Blended, as are all the aging rums at Foursquare. The Foursquare Triptych 2004 was bottled in November 2016, with only 5,400 bottles produced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eDescription:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Dark amber color. The nose resembles\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e an old El Dorado, but with more intensity and less caramel. Toasted notes of oak, cake, mocha, bananas, and dried figs, coffee beans, and a light hint of smoke, old cigars, and cedarwood.
