Superb on the nose, with tremendous concentration and sculpted peat, charcoal, dried meat and barbecue bacon, followed by notes of hay, caramelized tarte tatin, cinnamon and milk chocolate. Everything is balanced on the finish by a pronounced, fresh camphor note. On the palate, the opening reveals much more saline peat; the texture is creamy, the sherry is more defined than on the nose, accompanied by cloves, pepper and a subtle oak note.
