On the nose, rich with blueberries and blackberries, sultana raisins and dates, alongside spicy notes of pepper and star anise, with hints of toasted almond over a light smoky background. On the palate, almost tannic, intense and powerful, then evolving towards a sweeter character of honey and caramel.
