This limited edition single malt was distilled in 1981, aged for 25 years in a mix of American and European oak casks, and finally bottled in 2007 for Diageo’s Special Releases. Only 4,710 bottles produced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDescription:\u003c\/strong\u003e Bright amber color. On the nose, fresh and rather oily, with aromas of pine and caper berries, lemon juice and lime zest, hints of iodine and herbal tones with an earthy root character, touches of freshly cut grass and hay bales with delicate smoke. On the palate, very warm and pungent with a profusion of citrus, limoncello and lime, followed by notes of chopped almonds and plum jam with emerging oak.
