The main aging takes place in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels for a creamy sweetness, then a 12-month period in fresh sherry casks (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso) enhances its spicy character. On the nose very estery (fermented fruit, glue), with notes of cola, myrtle, and bergamot tea.
