It is a Blended or Vatted Rum, composed of various types of Rum assembled according to the old traditional method, in a limited edition of just a few thousand bottles. It starts from a 3-year-old Rum stock from one of the oldest distilleries in Cuba, distilled in 1988 and kept in Velier’s warehouses due to bureaucratic reasons that prevented its commercialization (also due to the embargo on Made in Cuba products) until 2012. Then it moves to an Old Solera from the Carupano Distillery, one of the oldest in South America (founded in 1762) located on the Paria Peninsula in Venezuela. Finally, a stock of Caroni Rum from Trinidad distilled in 1994, thus with nearly 20 years of aging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eDescription:\u003c\/b\u003e Amber color, not too bright, with bronze reflections. On the nose, a bouquet of good intensity, with the aroma of Caroni molasses followed immediately by spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is warm, velvety, with medium softness.
